Some time ago I wrote about the extremely useful vim graphical cheat sheet, and after recalling an old post about bash shell shortcuts, I decided to create a Bash graphical cheat sheet by myself

Bash is an extremely powerful shell, and sometimes newbies (or even power users!) don’t know how to delete a single word or how to copy and paste text. So here this goes. It has been prepared gathering info from the previous link and the bash manual. And, to be honest, I expected Bash to have even more keybindings.

As a vi fan, I think I’ll try the vi mode on Bash, but it is always useful to know the default keybindings.

Nota en español

Este es un blog en español, pero de vez en cuando ya sabéis que subo alguna cosa en inglés. Esta es la ocasión por dos motivos:

  1. Quiero salir en slashdot para probar si el server lo aguanta (mwahaha!)
  2. La terminal de linux mola más en inglés

Como adjunto el archivo fuente, sois libres de traducirlo al castellano o al idioma que queráis, o incluso cambiar la distribución de teclado, que está hecha para los teclados estadounidenses. Lo siento, pero la distribución USA le da mil patadas a la española, se teclea muchísimo más rapido.
